Nine days along the Pacific Coast
4LUX said he bought the 2007 997.1 Turbo in mid-February, after his wife had already planned their trip. They spent nine days on the road, covering 2,933 miles and visiting 21 breweries, from Las Vegas through Tahoe and Oregon before following the California coast south. The owner called the Slate Grey Metallic car a comfortable companion for the long drive.
A Turbo framed by the coast
The photographs follow the car from a turnout near Gold Beach to the coast and streets of Cambria. The front three-quarter views show the car clearly, while the coastal setting gives the road-trip account its sense of place.
A few road-trip reminders
The owner reported replacing a brake-light bulb during the trip. He also noted that the front spoiler and air dam were damaged on steep driveways. These are details from his account, not a general reliability or clearance assessment.
