2007 BMW E91 no-crank and a broken battery positive lead

Jake_Petersen_E91 reported a no-crank condition on his 2007 E91 N52. Replacing the starter, ground strap, and a relay behind the glovebox did not change the symptom. After removing the battery, he found the main positive lead broken inside the battery box. A few days after a replacement lead arrived, he reported that the car started.

samurai_k’s 1997 Coupe log follows front control-arm removal, difficult bushing extraction and cosmoline cleanup. A broken vise led to professional bushing pressing and ball-joint work; later updates move on to strut and anti-roll-bar preparation. The reported 50 mph shimmy has no confirmed resolution in this account.

One W463 owner describes a persistent right pull that remained after extensive suspension work and two steering changes, then reports straight tracking after fitting a gas-pressurized Bilstein steering damper with custom mounts. The author calls it a band-aid; the underlying cause remains unresolved.
