Red paint and an open door

Doug H shared his red 964 Cabriolet in a thread about P21s and Rejex, describing a deep red colour and a mirror-like finish. The first photograph looks across the open driver’s door, showing reflections in the bodywork, silver wheels and the black soft top. The original frame crops the front and rear of the car.

The whole car from the front quarter

His next photograph shows the same red Cabriolet with its door closed, round headlamps and raised rear spoiler. Doug noted that it had been rained on during his drive home from work, but he still preferred how the paint looked.

The owner’s finish and roof notes

Doug called it a 1990 car and said he had been considering repainting the front bodywork. After using an orbital on the bonnet and finding a wax that suited the paint, he felt he could postpone that repaint; he later repeated that the painting question was off the table for the time being. Asked about the roof, he described it as “a 993 style roof.” These are his own observations and modification description, rather than a verified paint assessment or factory specification.
