Six months looking for a 997.1 Turbo
Tim Kenney wrote that he had spent about six months searching across the country for a 997.1 Turbo. He wanted a manual car under 50,000 miles and considered adaptive sport seats, color and modifications. After two potential purchases fell through, a friend told him that Gabe might sell a midnight-blue 997 Turbo while moving to California. Kenney said he found the car about 30 minutes from home.
Midnight blue with a manual gearbox
Kenney described the car as a 2007 midnight-blue 997 Turbo with a six-speed manual and Natural Brown Tan leather. He reported 35,406 original miles and three owners, and said service records had stayed with the car. He also described the paint as factory original and untouched. The listed modifications were HRE C93 wheels, Bilstein B16 Damptronic coilovers, Fabspeed headers, Cargraphix exhaust, an AWE short-shift kit and a GIAC tune. Kenney added that a GT2 rear wing and carbon front-lip spoiler came with the car and were for sale separately.
A purchase he was happy with
Kenney said the deal closed at $78,000 at the time of his post. He wrote that the car passed a pre-purchase inspection and that, after just over a month of driving it, he had no regrets. The reported price and condition are part of his account, not a current market valuation.
